Play Day

Katherine and I had a rare day that we could just sit and play jut the 2 of us-no errands no nothing! She enjoyed bananas and meatballs in the nude, a sippy cup in her favorite seat in the house, and of course a little dress up. Katherine was much more interested in the tutu than the boa. When I took the tutu off she tried to put it back on herself!

Memorial Day Weekend

We were able to spend the holiday weekend with David, Monica, Aley , and Garret. Although the strawberry patch was closed, we were able to have fun at the park, at the York County Museum, and just hanging out at the house.

Ma- you gotta see what we found!

Apparently Matthew just reached up and picked it up off the wall and put it in the bug house. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

A week of firsts

First Katherine becomes a real walker, then Matthew loses his first tooth. My babies are growing up!

What a difference a day makes!

My new jungle gym!

Mother's Day

We had a wonderful Mother's Day. Matthew took his first stab at riding a two wheeler. We just need to strengthen his thigh muscles and boost his confidence but we'll get there. We then spent the rest of the day hanging out in the back yard and playing in the baby pool. A great relaxing day!

Baby Girl Turns One

Hard to believe our baby girl turns one today. She continues to grow leaps and bounds. She can walk up to about 8 steps before falling-I think it may be more if she weren't so congested that loses her balance sitting sometimes. She has a growing vocabulary: yes, daddy, dog, nana (banana), no-no, look, that, got it, and some others that aren't real consistent yet. She also has a shoe fetish. She will steal anyone's shoes she can. She is also a real climber just like big brother. The higher the better!
We had a small BBQ for her birthday on Saturday and she was her usual jovial self.

My Character Kid

Each month Matthew's school has a characteristic they spotlight. And each month one child who most exemplifies that characteristic is chosen from each class. Matthew came home last week with the award for April. The characteristic? Courage. We are very proud of our boy. He was quite excited to put his window cling in the car window- Riverview Elementary where chracter kids rock it! (We are the Riverview Rockets)

Moses and the Freedom Fanatics

Matthew ended his choir season as a slave in the church musical Moses and the Feedom Fanatics. He did a fantastic job-as did all the children.
