Busy Weekened

Matthew Had 2 soccer games this weekend and spent the night with his buddy Jesse.  Katherine enjoyed a date to see Pinkaliscious the Musical.  We brought her new friend from school Bella, her sister and her mother.  Not sure which of the two had more fun!  I will post pictures when i get a chance.

Travel Soccer

 We made the trek about as far north as you can get without leaving Arkansas to Bella Vista.  We left at 730 to avoid the traffic for the Razorback game, played 2 games and made it back home by 930 that night.  The boys won both games, 5-3 and 6-2.

This is the boy Matthew was matched up against for most of one game.  He was about a head taller than Matthew and gave him a run for his money.  Matthew stayed strong and played amazingly well.

Long day for little bit and no other siblings came.  I heard "I'm bored" only once.  She climbed the bleachers, played with her dolls, watch the game, and finally played with her brother's tablet.

Soccer season has begun!

Pinnacle Mountain State Park

We checked out the park for the first time while David and family were here.  It will definitely become a regular thing as the weather cools down a little.  100 degree days aren't the best for hiking but we got out there early enough to beat some of the heat.  There are several different trails to choose from for different intensity levels.  Felt a bit like hiking through Ferne Clyffe State Park.

Water Fun on a Hot Day

 Brian and David built a water bottle rocket launcher for the kiddos to beat the heat on a 100 degree day.  I am not sure who had more fun...the big boys or the little boys and girl!

 Safety first!  We borrowed "Ralph" from the neighbor so the kids could chase the bottles into the street!

Little Rock Zoo

He does love her!!!!   Caught him helping his sister see the animals without Mom even asking!

                                 Caught them loving each other again!   Love days like this.

Cousin Fun

 We went to Saint Louis for our grand-nephew's baptism.  The cousins were overjoyed to see each other for the first time in over 6 months and it was nice to have Brian with us for once!
