Ruff Day

Listen carefully and you can hear Bailey snoring away. We were having a scout meeting and I walked into the living room and Bailey was asleep on a blanket on the chair by the fire head hanging down and out cold! The video is very dark but he was so stinking cute I had to share. He had spent the afternoon playing outside with the soccer team.

Poinsetta Tour

Unfortunately Matthew was not in the mood for pictures and Katherine was not in the mood to put a "pretty" dress on but I was still able to snag a couple pictures of her in the sea of red. The local nursery holds the tour one weekend a year. Usually right before all the flowers start heading out to all the local stores and as far away as Chicago.

The Map

Matthew worked VERY hard on his map of an imaginary place and it shows. The only thing I did was the blue paint around the edge of the island. He drew, colored, painted and imagined everything else himself.

Matthew's final soccer game was today and he did a great job. His foot work was great and can we say...



GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that would be the goalie missing the ball!)

The end of season party was in our backyard. Matthew had an awesome year with Coach Smitty. We can't wait to have him again this spring!

Tea with friends

Katherine went to her best friend's birthday party at La-Tea-Da. She had an absolute blast in her pretty party dress sipping "tea" from a real china cup!

No School Day

Matthew finally had a day off of school so Tara and I took a crew to the zoo.

Norwegian Festival

We took the kids to a very small Norwegian Festival. Matthew absolutely loved it and did not want to leave. Katherine didn't care about anything except the camera. She refused to be in ANY pictures. Little turkey!

HAlloween Fun

We had our annual Halloween Party followed by trick or treating. I have some more pictures and video I think but haven't had a chance to down load the other camera. This year Katherine truly had the concept of of what trick or treating was and it was a blast to watch her excitement every time she received a piece of candy!!!
