Brian made Katherine her bottle at about 6am yesterday and was greeted by a crib and baby covered in vomit--of course she had Italian the night before so it was nice and red. She had a fever of 99.9 and by 1:30 it had climbed to 103.?. I was able to get her into our pediatrician-thank goodness they have Sunday hours. They did a flu test that came back negative and said she has a virus that mimics the flu. By 6:30 she was up to 104.5. We seemed to be doing better day I was able to keep her fever down to 99 or lower with Tylenol. We even bundled her up to see the snow and get a little fresh air. Don't worry grandparents-its not very cold out. As the day has progressed her temperature is on the rise and not 30 minutes ago she threw up all over her and me. Its the first time she has thrown up since yesterday morning. So we will see what tomorrow brings.
The days may be wild and crazy but they are filled with love. I wouldn't trade our life together for anything
