Birthday Fun

We had Matthew's party on Brian's birthday this year. We wanted to wait until Granny was here to enjoy it. We surprised Matthew with a water slide for his birthday party. The poor kid had no idea. His last guess was a bouncer and when he first came out that's what he thought it was. Unfortunately after almost two weeks of upper 90s and up weather, the high Thursday was 81! The kids were a little cold but it didn't phase them one bit.
Even Katherine got in on the fun!

Granny helped with the cake this year. Since the theme was a water slide what better than a water slide cake... You don't want to know the amount of sugar used to decorate the cake...pepermint balls, airheads, candy rings, m&ms, fruit roll ups, jello, frosting, gumdrops, white chocolate.... but man was it good!
