Fireworks and the Military Band

The local fireworks were on Saturday the 3rd in the city park. The military band played for about 2 hours before and then played the 1812 overture during the fireworks. The cool front was still hanging on and it was low 70s before the fireworks ever started. I can't remember ever wearing a sweatshirt on the 4th!! The kids enjoyed a couple bags of popcorn and the music before hand and were enthralled with fireworks.

We headed home about 10 and Katherine jabbered the entire way. Matthew......
